The FIU Safety app enhances campus security by providing essential safety features directly accessible to users. This application serves as a valuable tool for the university community, promoting a safer environment.

• Displays the locations of call boxes and health centers across the campus.
• Identifies emergency equipment in close proximity to the user.
• Offers one-touch access to FIU Police for immediate assistance.
• Facilitates quick access to essential services, including the Panther Safety Tram and the Victim Services Hotline.

Originally developed by Professor Hanly's IDH 1002 class in Spring 2014, this app reflects the commitment of FIU to foster a safe and responsive campus atmosphere.
